I feature this project here because it is evidence of eleventh-hour cleverness. This is the project where, if anything could have gone wrong, it did. We were a day away from our deadline and launch of our new selfie light product when we found out that we would be unable to use any of our talent-related assets, which the previous design featured very heavily. After a bit of reassessment, my team member and I pivoted in the direction of featuring the product instead of the talent. With that decision made, we got extremely busy with a light box, the selfie light in question, and a donated phone to produce the core asset for this project. A little Photoshop and a lot of hustle later, we came up with this design, pleasing our stakeholders and the reps for our celebrity talent. This project reminds me of how much change is possible in one day, provided we have the motivation to do it.
