Logo Designs

Branding

The thing that I love most about logos is their ability to convey both emotions and complex concepts all at a glance. When you look at a logo you get a sense of what the person or company strives to be and the visual message they want the world to hear. I try to keep this in mind while designing, using symbols and abstract concepts to create strong marks for my clients that resonate with the ideals they hope to fill in the world.

My design process-

For me, it always begins with pen and paper in some way: a doodle in the margin of a note book, a quick scribble on a napkin, or the twelfth sketch of the sheet. I’ve found that a certain amount of soul carries through the design when it begins outside the digital space, and I feel that little bit makes the difference between good and great design.

Stationery design-

When continuing a brand’s identity, I attempt to keep the same feel and texture of the logo, while insuring the integrity of each piece independently. This is the stationery for the Ace of Cups Coffee House; I designed it to keep the feel of the overall brand and generate visual interest in the various pieces that make it up.
